Review by hotel critic
Review of 1940s B&B Mi Casa, Tu Casa Roma NorteAs a marine biologist from the picturesque Nassau, Bahamas, I understand the importance of a balance between cost and value when choosing accommodations. Our stay at Mi Casa, Tu Casa was fulfilling, and Octavio’s dedication to providing a personalized experience truly set this B&B apart. The central location allowed us easy access to RTP buses and the subway—a vital aspect for anyone wanting to explore Mexico City. The surrounding area is sprinkled with shops, restaurants, and street food, making daily supplies convenient. It’s essential to highlight that we had access to a shared dining area, fostering social interactions with fellow guests over delicious daily breakfasts prepared by Octavio. While the amenities—such as the absence of lavish facilities—may not scream luxury, the cleanliness and comfort of our room justified the experience. For those traveling with family, the two bathrooms and communal sitting area provided an added advantage. Ultimately, Mi Casa, Tu Casa offers great value, particularly when considering the rate for such a central location.
